Donation Policy

ISSA Foundation deeply values the trust of its supporters. This Donation Policy outlines how donations are handled and utilized, with a focus on transparency and accountability — especially for work being carried out in Uttarakhand, India.

1. Purpose of Donations

All contributions made to ISSA Foundation support our mission to promote education, healthcare, and community development, with a primary focus on underserved regions in Uttarakhand.
Donations are directed toward programs such as:

  • Educational support for children in remote villages

  • Health awareness and medical camps

  • Nutrition and hygiene initiatives for women and children

  • Skill-building and livelihood training

2. Geographic Focus: Uttarakhand

Unless otherwise specified, donations received through our website or campaign platforms will be used exclusively to support our programs within the state of Uttarakhand.
We are currently active in several districts and aim to scale up impact in marginalized hill and tribal communities.

3. Non-Refundable Contributions

All donations made to ISSA Foundation are non-refundable. If a donor makes an error in the amount or a duplicate transaction occurs, please contact us within 7 days of the donation. Refunds will be handled at our discretion in legitimate cases.

4. Tax Benefits

Donations to ISSA Foundation may be eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (subject to approval and applicable law).
Donors wishing to receive exemption certificates must provide valid PAN and contact details at the time of donation.

5. Receipts & Acknowledgment

Donors will receive an acknowledgment and payment receipt via email within 24–48 hours. If you do not receive a receipt or confirmation, please contact us promptly.

6. Donor Information and Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Donor information is never sold or shared without consent. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for how your data is used and protected.
